  5. As we mentioned in our August and December communications to
  6. you, Hewlett-Packard is committed to support Domain through the
  7. year 2000. As promised, we continue to communicate the latest
  8. news regarding the work we are doing to provide this support and
  9. the benefits of that support to you.

  11. Thanks to those of you who responded to the December survey.  We
  12. appreciate your time and involvement in directing Domain's
  13. future. As indicated by your responses, your top concerns are
  14. communications, the patch process, interoperability, networking,
  15. graphics, user interfaces and migration.  The vast majority
  16. (88%) continue to see value in maintaining or increasing current
  17. HP support contracts.

  19. To receive the greatest return on those support contracts, we
  20. encourage your continued interest and contact with us. We urge
  21. you to let us hear from you. (See the enclosed post-paid
  22. survey.) You can make a difference; it takes just a few moments

  36. SWT's success in providing focused, customer-driven support for
  37. the Domain, MPE V, and RTE operating systems has recently
  38. brought it another group of products: the HP-UX operating system
  39. (Motorola-based 68000 HP Series 300 and Series 400 only). By
  40. separating support of the Series 300/400 HP-UX installed base
  41. from that of the Series 700 PA-RISC installed base, HP can
  42. provide an appropriate focus for each. You'll hear more about
  43. this at the upcoming InterWorks conference and in future
  44. communications from us.
